The Mercury Redstone program was Americas first step manned spaceflight and was a significant milestone for the Americans in their race to the Moon with the Soviets. While It only flew a manned/monkeyed flights three times and wasn't capable of getting to orbit, it is still recognized today as an iconic rocket in the US space program.
This model is In 1:110 scale so it scales with the official Saturn V set.
