The Venator are the large amount of engines, the twin bridges and the hangar underneath the ship. include the greebling on the side of the ship. This gives it a lot more texture and makes it nicer to look at.
It also adds to the sense of scale of the ship if done correctly. make sure that the red line on top of the ship had a bit of the wedge shape that the real model has. add a stand that is minimalistic in design and gets the job done. it is easy to remove the ship to be able to keep it in your hand so you can more easily see all the angles.
