I have a feeling that most people in this sub are fans of both OG Lego and alt-brick brands. I am anyway. I love Lego but the alt-brick scene has been more exciting the last 12 months. Way more interesting ...

I am working on papaglops ucs razor crest from Vanado and the quality is fantastic. Clutch power on par with lego and the brick quality feels great too. Some of the grey colors have some color uniformity issues, but not enough for me to care. I have heard others say they got one or two poor quality kits. Not sure if that is a brick issue or design issue, because that’s two different questions. Papaglops crest is incredibly well designed and solid, so that might have something to do with it too. No missing pieces so far and I'm almost done with a 4k piece build.
I build/buy with lego for in production sets, but these big mocs like papaglops and cavegods sandcrawler, and retired sets i happily get with none lego bricks because no way in hell am I spending 4 and 5 times the cost getting actual lego bricks for those sets.

MOC quality is like any quality. Very subjective. You can tell that the people who source the parts try hard to get the right color for each part. Most of them are perfect and it feels like a typical factory set. Very few of MOCs have stark color differences like swapping all yellow for tan.
You can get a small one that you like to try it out. P.S. I'm sure you already know mocs don't include stickers, paper instructions, numbered bags, and (usually) no printed parts.

Way more interesting sets coming out of China and high quality legacy sets too. Lego is so laser focused on what makes them money they won't do stuff like this in big sets.

'Out of 7767 buildable parts (ignoring 179 minifig/non-LEGO parts), you are missing 6503 parts.'
I now have 13% of the parts needed. Oh well, back to the drawing board. I will probably build the Vonado one when it arrives and then look into part sourcing for the other.
Thanks again for the list!
Still cheap compared to bricklinking it. I submitted the parts list (actually Valeries original parts list) to bricklink and it came back at over $1600, and there were still 250 parts that could not be sourced at all!

Bought the Crawler-transporter for NASA Saturn from Vonado. Arrived within 2 weeks of order.
For the price this Crawler is excellent. It provides a very stable base for either the Saturn V LUT or the Space Shuttle Mobile Launch Platform (which Vonado also offer). If using it for the LUT it is very important that you added extra pillars inside the LUT base to reinforce it. If you add this to an un-reinforced LUT I strongly suspect the base plates will just collapse inwards.
The kit contains 2365 pcs, about 350 of these are track pieces. The only part I had an issue with was the connectors used to attach the exhausts. These are supposed to ratchet, but they are really loose, so the exhausts just flop around. I added a bit of glue to each. There are eight 13 hole beams that the instructions show as light gray but are supplied in dark gray - makes no difference to the build. There were no missing parts.
The Crawler adds 9cm to the overall height of the LUT. The tracks are steerable. The track modules on opposite sides are also connected by tie rods so that they both steer in unison.
A must buy for any Lego space nut if you already have the LUT.

I know its not Lego Brand. I understand that. My concern is that 381.00 is a lot of money and I wanna make sure you will stand behind the product. No Bad bricks, and it comes with everything, not missing. Wanna know you will help if I have issues and take care of me as a customer. If you can take care of me and make sure no missing pieces I will be a good customer and buy more and more.
